Description

How can we use creative methods to make complex themes more accessible, engaging, and meaningful?
This session will begin with hands-on, participatory techniques that invite us to explore how creative approaches can break down big ideas and spark dialogue. From there, we’ll settle into a cozy fireside-style conversation about the role of creativity in social change — and how we can move beyond surface-level engagement (yes, even beyond the post-it note!) toward more embodied, holistic ways of participating in transformation. In this session, we will be talking about how to instill autonomy in grassroots populations to be changemakers and participate in the design of systems and influence upstream change.
Together, we’ll explore how to tap into both critical thought and creative intuition, using both body and mind in our changemaking. Whether you’re ready to jump in or prefer to observe gently from the sidelines, this gathering offers multiple levels of engagement, so you can participate at your own comfort level.
Creative practices offer more than just new tools — they open space for deeper conversations, subtle forms of resistance, and imaginative paths forward. Let’s explore how.
