The MScAC Internship Expo is a networking focused event that facilitates connections between our MScAC students and industry partners, both of whom are looking to collaborate on cutting edge projects.
 
At the Internship Expo, students hear from MScAC industry partners about the latest technological advances happening at their respective organisations, as well as take the first steps to securing their applied-research internship (starting May 1).

For industry partners, this a great opportunity to meet the next generation of world-class innovators and find the student who can apply their highly skilled research knowledge to solve a challenging and innovative problem, relevant to the business needs.

During the event, the MScAC program will be hosting a series of information and networking sessions where you can ask questions about specific applied-research internships and make connections with a wide array of industry partners.

There are many internship opportunities available, so we highly recommend you attend the entire event to learn more.

During the event, industry partners have the opportunity to host their own breakout session and/or attend the in-person networking sessions taking place during the week. These sessions can be used to meet and network with students from the cohort in a group setting and present your respective project(s).

During the week, there is also the option to offer 15 minute 1-on-1 meetings with students from the cohort. You may wish to utilise this to meet members of the cohort you think are uniquely suitable for your project.

Breakout sessions outlining the various projects will start at 9:00 a.m. on January 22, 2024. Students and company representatives will also have the ability to book 15 minute 1:1 appointments during these dates as well.

The in-person event will operate similar to a career-fair. At the MScAC office, partners will have the opportunity to set up their own table, representing their organization in a manner of their choosing. They can bring any marketing and communications collateral and branded merchandise they like (i.e., brochures, pamphlets, PowerPoint slide deck, table-top signage, business cards, water bottles, notebooks, pens, etc.).
