Meet heart-led entrepreneur Ginger Auger of Ginger's Bannock House

Ginger is a Métis/Cree iskwew and CEO Founder of Ginger’s Bannock House; an indigenous catering company located on Treaty 8 Territory and the unceded lands of the Métis in Fort McMurray. They specialize in indigenous infusion food and story.
Her story of healing and the red road are integral elements of the company. She was homeless and in addictions when she started Gingers Bannock House. The company gave her vision to start a healing journey. Ginger employs indigenous on the road to recovery, healing or independence. She either trains for culinary trades or experience. Her business has won many awards including Indigenous Business of the Year, Top 50 people under Fifty and the Best Donut of Fort McMurray.
Her future is focused on food security, culture, reconciliaction and story.
@gingers_bannock_house continually gives back to the community through volunteering and food donations.
I believe it takes a community to make a difference.
