Evangeline Cometa has held a number of positions since joining CSA Group 20 years ago. She is currently a member of the Technical Integrity team as Technical Oversight Manager, leading a diverse group of subject matter experts in various disciplines including Occupational Health and Safety, Mechanical, Plumbing and Construction. She is part of the team that established the CSA certification program for PPE with an accredited, special-purpose lab dedicated to testing and certification of medical grade PPE.
Prior to joining CSA, she held a number of positions in the manufacturing industry with experience in materials development, process engineering, and quality control supervision. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and a registered professional engineer in Ontario.
