Mylène Bédard is a faculty member in the Département de mathématiques et de statistique at the Université de Montréal. Her work focuses on computational statistics, and in particular on Markov chain Monte Carlo algorithms. After completing a Ph.D. in Statistics at the University of Toronto, she spent a year as a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Statistics at the University of Warwick, U.K.
