- Tenaz is a new entity with current production in Canada and growth ambitions internationally. The management team has excellent experience internationally from their prior efforts at Vermilion Energy.
- They see growth internationally in Europe, MENA and Latin America. They are currently pursuing deals and were close on one that, in the end, was obstructed from closing. We would have liked to see them land that one. However, they are persistent and will not overpay for assets and growth. They are looking to deals in the $50-100M area and want to grow the company to over 10,000 boe/d over the next 4-5 years.
- Canadian production should average 1,200 boe/d this year and they plan on spending $8M on these assets in the Mannville formation in central Alberta.
- TNZ has 28.5M shares outstanding and a market capitalization of over $40M. They have a working capital surplus of $20M ($0.70 per share). Insiders are significant shareholders.
