  • Both Perpetual and Rubellite are Calgary based E&P companies. PMT is focused on natural gas and heavy oil and Rubellite, a spin-off company, is focused on the high profile Clearwater heavy oil play.
  • PMT will see near term growth from its Edson liquids rich natural gas area as well as its Mannville heavy oil area. Production in Q2/22 was 6,123 boe/d (81% natural gas).

Sue Riddell Rose is President and Chief Executive Officer of Rubellite Energy Inc. and Perpetual Energy Inc., the Manager of Rubellite under the Management Services and Operating Agreement. She graduated from Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario with a Bachelor of Science in Geological Engineering (1986), began her career as a geological engineer with Shell Canada and has over 35 years of experience in the Canadian oil and natural gas industry. From 1990 until 2002 Sue was employed by Paramount Resources Ltd. in various capacities, culminating in the position of Corporate Operating Officer. She has been a director of Paramount Resources Ltd. since 2000. Sue is also a director of Secure Energy and AltaLink, L.P.

Sue is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta, the Canadian Society of Petroleum Geologists, the American Association of Petroleum Geologists and is a Governor of the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers.

Sue is actively involved with a number of not-for-profit organizations including UNICEF Canada, Fulbright Canada, Canada Powered by Women and is a member of the Board of Trustees of Mount Royal University. Sue recently retired from the Board of Directors and past Chair of United Way of Calgary and Area and from the Board of Trustees of Queen’s University and is also past Chair of Alberta’s Promise.
