- Blackline Safety provides wearable safety technology for gas monitoring and cloud-connected software and analytics to meet demanding safety challenges for organizations in over 100 countries. They recently introduced a new connected wearable to detect gas emissions. The new G6 gas detector offers faster incident response time.
- Revenues in Q3/22 increased 46% to $18.6M with the US their largest market with revenues in the quarter of $8.7M. EBITDA was a loss for the quarter. They had cash at the end of July before the financing in August of $10.5M.
- They raised $24.9M in a 11.3M share bought deal financing in August at a price of $2.20 per share. With 72M shares outstanding the company has a market cap of $126M.
Shane Grennan is the Chief Financial Officer of Blackline Safety Corp. since February 2016 and has overseen the transition the finance function of Blackline from a 50 person TSX Venture Exchange company to a 500 person TSX listed global entity. He has a broad range of accounting, finance and public company experience in diversified industries across North America and Ireland. Prior to joining Blackline, Mr. Grennan worked as the Controller of a natural gas subsidiary of Mitsubishi Corporation and with PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Senior Manager in their audit and assurance practice. He is a Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant and a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland.
