Ashley Popko (she/her) is the Manager of DEI at TC Energy, leading the DEI strategy across the organization in Canada, the US and Mexico. She is passionate about creating inclusive spaces that recognize and celebrate unique experiences and backgrounds, and leverages her own experience working in health care, construction, and energy to develop programs focused on culture change, career progression, mentorship, and engagement. As part of her role, she also acts as lead of the Inclusion & Diversity Executive Council and Employee Inclusion Networks and participates as internal Co-Chair of the Indigenous Advisory Council Talent stream.
As a born and raised Calgarian she is passionate about contributing to the local community and has worked with various Alberta-based programs for youth, mental health, and basic needs. Since 2021, Ashley has also been the Team Lead for the GAIN program for United Way of Calgary and Area, a group of highly skilled leaders who partner with agencies to provide capacity building supports.
