Bonnie Drozdowski co-leads InnoTech Alberta, as Vice-President, with nearly 20 years of experience managing and participating in multifaceted applied research projects that integrate business and science to generate creative, practical solutions in the environmental industry in Alberta. Growing up on a farm in Northeastern Alberta, Bonnie developed a strong connection with the land and environment, laying the foundation of what continues to fuel her passion for creating and influencing positive change and meaningful impacts for Albertans. From early on, she felt drawn to a career in Environmental Sciences where she could create impact and add value to responsible and sustainable economic development. This led her to pursue a graduate degree from the University of Alberta in Environmental and Conservation Sciences, providing her the technical training and skills to pursue her career. Following several environmental consulting roles, she began her career in 2007 as a junior researcher with the predecessor to InnoTech Alberta. She quickly emerged as a leader in her field, expanding her skills and experience in leadership and collaboration to develop solutions for challenges in various industries. She is dedicated to supporting and motivating others to address complex challenges, leveraging her strong technical background in environmental sciences while fostering a high-performance culture and innovative project execution.
