Retired from a career in broadcasting and the performing arts, Colin Jackson currently serves as co-chair of Calgary on Purpose, senior scholar at the University of Calgary Graduate College, board secretary of the National Theatre School of Canada, and board member of the Siminovitch Theatre Foundation. He is also a member of the Arizona State University New American Council for Art and Design and a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. He is the recipient of the Queen’s Golden and Diamond Jubilee medals and a Canada Council Senior Arts Award. He holds a BA from the University of Manitoba and a MPA from the Harvard Kennedy School. The Colin Jackson Theatre in Winnipeg at Prairie Theatre Exchange, a theatre company he founded, is named for him. He is a Advanced Leadership Initiative Fellowship partner at Harvard Business School.
