Description

What does it take to build trust across nonprofit and municipal sectors? This interactive session, jointly run by Roots & Rivers Consulting and the City of Calgary, explores how to create meaningful, systems-level change through cross-sector partnerships. Drawing from real-life examples (including a cross-municipality Poverty Reduction Partnership and the City of Calgary’s Innovation Lab) and proven frameworks (including Tamarack Institute’s Turf, Trust, Co-Creation & Collective Impact methodology), participants will engage in reflection, dialogue, and shared learning to uncover what supports—and what hinders—effective collaboration. Leave with new connections, practical tools, and a deeper understanding of how to build and sustain partnerships rooted in trust, equity, and shared purpose.
