Andrea Klaiber-Langen is ATCO’s Vice President, Transformation. Andrea leads and works with an exceptional team that has diverse areas of expertise. This team practices future-focused leadership, radical transparency, idea meritocracy and empathy in supporting and engaging with future-focused initiatives and activities, including ATCO’s SpaceLab. She inspires leaders and colleagues both inside and outside ATCO, encouraging our optimistic and successful engagement with the uncertainty of the future.

Prior to joining ATCO, Andrea had more than 20 years of extensive leadership and management experience, holding senior leadership positions at the University of Calgary and the Alberta Electric System Operator. She also held roles with an international integrated oil and gas company and a Canadian based inter-disciplinary engineering consulting firm. Her strategic and legal expertise encompasses advising on the commercial, legal, and regulatory regimes specific to utilities, oil and gas, and public health. Andrea has also participated in the development of government policy regarding natural resources and utility regulation.

Andrea has a Juris Doctor and a BA (Hons) in Anthropology from the University of Alberta.
