Lena is a mother, daughter, wife, sister, and auntie of white settler origin living in Moh’kinstsis (Calgary) in Treaty 7 territory. She is an educator, process designer and facilitator with over 25 years experience working with academic institutions, community organizations and local government in multi-interest collaborations for systems change. As the Director of the Trico Changemakers Studio at Mount Royal University, Lena’s work emphasizes designing processes and programs that foster deep collaboration, transformative learning and meaningful change. Lena has taught in the Social Innovation program at MRU, at the Centre for Sustainable Community Development at Simon Fraser University, and was on the founding leadership team at CityStudio Vancouver.
